Bennett Gualdoni is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and finance leader whose career bridges institutional real estate capital and the operating teams that develop land and build homes. A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Georgia College & State University, where he earned his BBA in Accounting, Bennett went on to complete his Master of Accountancy with a concentration in Taxation at the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. He has been licensed as a CPA in the State of Georgia since 2018.

Bennett began his career at PwC in Atlanta as a Senior Associate within the firm’s Financial Services practice. His work centered on the most complex corners of real estate accounting — REIT testing, earnings and profits calculations, and tax compliance for private equity funds and alternative investment vehicles invested in commercial and residential real estate. Bennett also supported buy-side and sell-side due diligence, post-transaction integration, and debt re-modification analyses for institutional clients.

Following PwC, Bennett moved from auditing institutional capital to helping deploy and manage it. As Managing Consultant at ThreadKore, he advised C-suite executives at homebuilders, general contractors, and commercial developers on capital structure, banking relationships involving loans in excess of $300 million, and the full mechanics of investor reporting. He later served as Controller at Triple Whale, where he led global accounting for U.S. and Israel-based entities — implementing NetSuite, managing treasury and global tax compliance, and overseeing technical reporting under ASC 606, 842, 985, and 350. As Relationship Manager at R2 Management Partners, a fractional CFO platform, Bennett oversaw the finance function for homebuilders and developers responsible for more than 1,200 closings per year, leading a team of eight across accounting, purchasing, and estimating.

Bennett currently serves as Controller for SouthVale and its affiliated land development and homebuilding entities, including David Patterson Homes. In that capacity, Bennett owns the financial reporting framework across the platform — leading GAAP-compliant monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting; managing intercompany accounting, consolidation, and capital allocation across multiple legal entities; and overseeing job costing, WIP reporting, and construction budgeting. He partners with operating leadership on land acquisition underwriting, pro formas, and return projections, and works alongside external CPAs, attorneys, and lenders to manage tax compliance and construction financing across an active development pipeline in metro Atlanta.

Bennett’s career spans the full ecosystem of residential real estate finance — from auditing the largest real estate funds in the world at a Big Four firm to building the day-to-day finance and reporting infrastructure for an active land development and homebuilding platform. That combination of institutional rigor and operational discipline anchors SouthVale’s finance function as the platform continues to scale.
